Video footage of the late world- renowned expert on the Anglo-Zulu war, historian Dr David Rattray talking on the Isandlwana battle site, where Britain suffered her biggest colonial defeat at the hands of the Zulu Army on 22 January 1879. Only 55 British officers and soldiers, all mounted, escaped from the battle-site of Isandlwana, while over 1,300 perished, including 52 officers.
Dave Rattray was a self-taught passionate historian and gifted storyteller. Battle re-enactment scenes are incorporated in the video presentation.
